Captain Juan Sebastion Elcano V is the Spanish Military Captain that utilized the strange tale told by Eas the Drunk in order to convince the King of Spain to pursue invading the nation of Ninava.
Never truly believing Eas' words, he knew his King could be convinced to explore the possibility of the magic's existence, allowing him to claim the lands of the Ninavian people through military might.
After the invasion in 1670 AD, Captain Elcano's armies arrived on the shore of the Emperor's capital. Despite his plea for peace, Emperor Sōsetsu Aramar was shot and murdered by Captain Elcano, leaving his son, Asahi Aramar, in charge of his people.
After they had taken the capital, Captain Elcano and his men pursued the Ninavians with the instruction of Eas the Drunk, but never discovered their location.
In truth, the Spirit Guardian inside of the weapon Asahi Aramar wielded, Jivashastra, formed a holographic barrier that prevented Elcano and his soldiers from discovering the location of the Ninavians.
