Mizuki Moto is the childhood friend and eventual wife of Tsukuyomi Jiwasadar. A resilient, loyal woman, Mizuki stayed beside her husband through years of economic hardship and through seven failed pregnancies. Even when Tsukuyomi himself had given up, Mizuki had refused and continued to fight for them and for their family.
All of this makes her death the more tragic. While carrying their eighth child in her womb, the woman was slain. The mystery of her death is still unknown, but the impact of it drove Tsukuyomi away from his home and away from the wreckage of his life.
