The Ensoulment is the Daisuke Clan tradition wherein the Daisuke clansman closest to the Worshipful Doyenne/Doyen at the time of their death inherits the role of Worshipful Doyenne/Doyen. Because of this tradition, apprentices often stay nearby their Worshipful Doyenne/Doyen at all times.
